Our Marsden Park studio offers a calm, comfortable space designed to bring out the best in every client. Whether you're after a timeless family portrait, a meaningful couples session, or a creative individual shoot, our setup allows for full control of lighting, background, and styling to match your vision.
We use creative studio lighting to enhance your natural features and produce polished, professional results. Choose from elegant backdrop options like white, black, or charcoal grey for a clean, refined look. From maternity to milestone moments, or simply updating your portrait wall, we create a relaxed environment that encourages natural expression and genuine connection.
What to Expect from Your Studio Portrait Session
We understand how special a portrait session can be, especially if it’s your first time working with a professional photographer. That’s why every session at Irierootsini is collaborative and personalised from the start. Whether you’re planning a maternity, newborn, couples, family, or personal portrait session, we’ll tailor the approach to reflect your story. With soothing music, a relaxed studio atmosphere, and real-time pose guidance using our Live View Monitor, we help you feel confident and comfortable throughout the shoot.
Held at our Marsden Park studio
Based on a 60-minute photo session (studio session length is determined by the number of final images required)
Suitable for individuals, couples, or families (up to 6 people included; extra charge for larger groups)
Pre-session planning via online questionnaire to confirm goals, styling, and creative direction
Pose samples provided before your session to help you feel prepared and confident
2 outfit changes included
Live View Monitor so you can adjust your pose and expression during the shoot
Choice of 1 to 2 backdrops: white, black, charcoal, light grey, or grey cloud
8 to 12 styled poses with 5 to 10 frames per pose for your selection
8 high-resolution retouched images included
$30 per additional retouched image
All images colour corrected and exposure balanced
Final images delivered within 7 days
Delivered via Dropbox (USB available for $20 incl. postage & materials)
Images supplied as high-res JPEGs, suitable for print and social media use
Optional makeup & hair referrals available on request
Optional advanced retouching or manipulation available if needed
